The Trishul peak is formed by 3 mountain peaks of western Kumaun of the Himalayas. The three peaks together resemble the trident which is the weapon of Hindu God- Shiva and is considered extremely sacred in Hindu religion and mythology. Though located in Auli, the peak is best visible if you do the Roopkund Trek.

Best time to visit: September, October, and November are the months when the climate is immensely pleasant. However, if you want to witness snow, you can opt for visiting during late November and December.
