Running through the East Coast along the Bay of Bengal, the Eastern Ghats are discontinuous and covers portions of West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

Peaks

Jindhagada Peak or Arma Konda is the highest peak of the eastern ghats at an elevation of 1690 meters.

Fauna

The Indian Golden Gecko. elephants, boars, and blackbucks are some of the most endangered species found here. Hundreds of different kinds of reptiles are predominant here.
