“In the Himalayas, it is hard to put words on your experience, you have to explore yourself – it has always been amazing.“ – anonymous
One of the most striking peaks of the Kumaon Himalayas, Hardeol is also known as the ‘Temple Of God’. It is located close to the Nanda Devi sanctuary on the northern side and guards the Nanda Devi peak. Milam valley of Pithoragarh district is the home to this majestic peak of India. The peak is not a very popular choice when it comes to trekkers and climbers as it is tough to access.
The nearest road through which you can access this peak is in Munsiyari.
Best time to visit: October is the best month as there is no rainfall and snow doesn’t start falling yet either.
