Chadar Trek
Have you ever walked upon a frozen river and faced the various challenges of nature? Chadar Trek of Ladakh is one of the most thrilling and satisfying experiences you can ever have in your life. The trek occurs usually between December and January.
The Zanskar river is frozen at that time and has a thick layer of snow. Warning: It might get a bit tough!
Roopkund Trek
Located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, Roopkund trek is ideal for you if you like underline trekking. The Roopkund lake which is also known as the lake of mysteries is one of the visual treats of this trek along with other lush green forests and magical landscapes. May-June is the ideal time to explore this place.
Sandakphu Trek
Sandakphu Trek which is located in Darjeeling, West Bengal is also known as Trekkers Paradise. The expedition is almost 5-6 days long. You can get panoramic views of the Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu throughout the trek.
April to May and October to December- is the best time to take part in this expedition.
Dudhsagar Trek
The thing about trekking in South India is its state of the art views and majestic waterfalls. Dudhsagar waterfalls are such a view that is bound to take your breath away. Falling from a height of 1017 m, it is also known as ‘sea of milk’. The trek is an attractive one but you can also take a train ride under the waterfalls.
Gulmarg Skiing
If you are an avid skier, Gulmarg is a must-visit for you. Skiing down the snowy slopes of Gulmarg is the best thing to do here. The scenery is awe-striking and it gets millions of visitors throughout the year from all over the globe. Mt. Apharwat is the most preferred ski location here.

Kufri Skiing
Himachal Pradesh is well known for its iconic skiing locations. Kufri is located at 9000 ft, serves as an ultimate destination for skiing. Mahasu and Narkanda are the two most popular spots where you can enjoy skiing. December-February is the best time to visit.
Gulmarg Gondola
Gulmarg Gondola also happens to be the world’s highest cable car. From such a height, you get a magical view of the snow scattered white landscape, pine forests. It is one of the most unique experiences you will ever get in your life.
Satpura Rock Climbing

White water rafting- Rishikesh

River rafting- Tons Valley
Tons river is well known as being the largest tributary of the Yamuna river in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. You can take part in the Tons River expedition that includes river rafting and has the difficulty of 3-4th grade. One the Hornes of the Tons, Tones Squeeze, Confluence are some of the iconic rapids you will come across during the rafting.
White water rafting- Kullu
Beas river is known for its rapid waves and lashes. Kullu, Manali is an ideal place to enjoy the white water rafting in India. January-May & October-November are an ideal time to enjoy this river.
Surfing- Goa
When in Goa, surfing is a must. If you are an experienced surfer, then you cannot miss the banana surfing of Goa. Even if you are not an experienced surfer, you can get instructors to guide you.

Scuba diving- Andaman

Tiger Safari- Bandhavgarh
Tiger Safari in Bandhavgarh forest is indeed a treasure of India. This abode of greenery is filled with huge forested lands and wildlife species. The safari is very organized and there are two ways by which you can enjoy the safari- Jeep or elephant.

Lion Safari- Gir National Park
Gir Forest is well known for being the home to the king of the jungles- Lions.
523 Asiatic Lions are found in this jungle. Not only lions, but the jungle is also blessed with several other wildlife species. The jeep safari tour is incredibly fun and you are guaranteed with animal sightings.
Wildlife safari- Jim Corbett National Park
Jim Corbett National Park which is located in Nainital is the best place if you want to experience the sight of an Indian tiger. A jeep safari is available if you want to visit the entire park. Dhikala Zone, Bijrani Zone, Sonanadi Zone, and Durga Devi Zone are the different zones of this large park.
The best time to explore this park is mid-October to mid-June.

Caving- Meghalaya
